1. About This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Get Seen, LLC, doing business as Bookupost ("Bookupost," "we," "us"), collects through bookupost.com and the Bookupost software (together, the "Service"), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Terms & Conditions.
Bookupost is a social media scheduling and messaging tool. It covers two kinds of people:
- Our customers: people and businesses who buy a Bookupost license, plus the team members they invite.
- People our customers interact with: for example, the followers whose comments a customer replies to, or the contacts a customer messages through WhatsApp. For that data, our customer decides what to collect and why, and we process it on their behalf. Questions about that data should go to the customer first.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you give us, information from the platforms you connect, and information collected automatically when you use the Service.

We only access connected-platform data that you authorize, and you can revoke that access at any time from Bookupost or from the platform itself.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Create and manage your account, process your purchase, and handle refunds
- Run the Service: publish and schedule your posts, send your WhatsApp messages, show comments and messages for reply, and sync your connected storage files
- Power the AI features you choose to use, such as drafting captions or automatically replying to comments and messages
- Provide customer support, onboarding, and training
- Send service notices, such as account, security, and policy updates
- Send marketing about Bookupost and Get Seen products, which you can opt out of at any time
- Keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems
- Comply with the law and enforce our Terms
AI processing: When you use AI features, the text you provide (and, for automatic replies, the incoming comment or message) is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We do not sell this content, and we do not use it to train our own models.
Data from connected platforms: We use data from connected platforms only to provide the features you use. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it beyond what is described in this policy.
Google: Bookupost's use of information received from Google APIs (including YouTube, Google Business Profile, and Google Drive) follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. YouTube features are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke Bookupost's access in your Google security settings.
Meta, TikTok, and others: Data from Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, and other platforms is handled according to each platform's developer terms.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:
- Platforms you connect. When you publish a post, send a message, or reply to a comment, we send that content to the platform you chose.
- Service providers. We use trusted vendors for hosting, payment processing, email, AI generation, customer support tools, and analytics. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Your team. Team members you invite can see the content, accounts, and groups you give them access to.
- Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Bookupost, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. If Get Seen, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer to the new owner, who must honor this policy.
- With your consent. In any other case, we will ask you first.
5. Retention, Security, and Your Rights
Retention: We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account or receive a refund, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 90 days, except records we must keep for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons. When you disconnect a social or storage account, we delete its access tokens right away.
Security: We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
Cookies: We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
Your choices: You can update your account details in the app, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, and disconnect any connected account at any time.
Deleting your data: To delete your account and its data, email info@getseen.net from your account email with the subject 'Data Deletion Request.' To remove only data tied to a Facebook or Instagram account, you can also remove Bookupost from that platform's Apps and Websites settings. We will confirm once deletion is complete.
Your privacy rights. Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, other U.S. states, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising (we do neither)
- Appeal our decision if we deny your request
To exercise these rights, email info@getseen.net. We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law requires, free of charge. You may use an authorized agent, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Other Important Information
Children: The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International users: Bookupost is based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for transfers from the EEA or UK.
Third-party links: The Site may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
Changes to this policy: We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new 'Last updated' date, and for material changes we will notify license holders by email or in the app.
